Alarm System Telephone Dailer
Ever wanted control of your own Home Alarm System? Well… I’m working on it. This is the first big step. This circuit will call a pre programmed telephone from a land line to alert you that a sensor in your home has been broken. Great for going on holidays when you leave your percious home all by itself. … Home Alarm System Telephone Dialer PIC PIC16F84A Holtek 9200B DTMF Generator Programmer Sensor Jake Sutherland

Hey ikhan35
I would love to help.
But I currently working on this project so thats why i haven’t put it on the site.
I’m experiemting with different sub-systems to add to it.
Do you write code in assembly language?
What type of microcontroller do you preffer to use?
How about i give you my email and you can just ask questions as you need them asnswered.
Plus I can draw schematics and send them to your address.

What if you pick up your phone when its ringing?
April 29th, 2009 at 1:34 am
nothing much happens.
But i want to develope this system further so that you will be able to pick up the phone and control a variety of things via a DTMF receiver.
Dont ask me when that will happen.
Though I’ll be sure to post a video when it does.
Jake.

HI,
Interesting the only thing I can see what wouldstop the signal going out is if some one cut your phone line.
I have just finished building a Land line cut detector you may like to have a look at it.
I often use the Cell phone net works to build most of my ideas
