Me Testing a 12V Exterior Siren & Strobe Light for our Home Alarm System/The Pointer by ATW Security
I took a 12V siren/red strobe light combo & hooked it up inside the house just to test it. I hooked it to a converter that converts 120V AC in your house to 12V DC, actually 13.8 VDC to be precise, at 1.75 Amps. The siren is rated for 6 to 14 VDC at 180 mA current draw. It is made by ATW Security…it’s in the Watchdog Collection, & it’s called “The Pointer”. Please rate & comment on my video…I hope it helps you!

We have these at all the emergency exits where I work. They can get pretty obnoxious when they get left on after someone trips them.
